Progressive Vision Proudly Sponsors Irish Blind Tennis Team for the Second Year in a Row

We are delighted to announce that Progressive Vision is once again the proud sponsor of the Irish Blind/VI Tennis team as they compete in the upcoming Blind/VI Tennis World Championships. The prestigious event will take place from September 23rd to 29th in Lignano Sabbiadoro – Cordenons, Italy.

This year’s championships will bring together over 150 athletes from 20 countries, showcasing incredible talent and determination on a global stage.

 

Ireland’s team, representing the nation with pride, includes the following athletes:

 

  • Lisa McLaughlin (B1) – Windsor TC
  • Stuart Haxell (B1) – Sligo TC
  • Paul O’Rahilly (B1) – Naas LTC
  • Babs Weiberg (B2) – Shankill TC
  • Vinny Keane (B2) – Rosslare/Naas LTC
  • Marguerite Quinn (B3) – Ballina Killaloe TC
  • Riya Devereux (B4) – Shankill TC
  • John Connolly (B4) – Rushbrooke TC

 

Supporting the athletes are Simon McFarland and Jean Barr from Tennis Ireland, alongside Wesley O’Brien from Ballina Killaloe TC, who will be providing essential guidance and encouragement throughout the tournament.

 

Progressive Vision is honoured to continue our partnership with Tennis Ireland and to support these exceptional athletes as they represent Ireland on the world stage.
