Targeting the cure for blindness at the Retina International World Congress 2024
Progressive Vision are proud to have been a sponsor at the Retina International World Congress 2024. Mr Mark Cahill, Clinical Lead at Progressive Vision was a guest speaker on the Saturday afternoon of the Congress (RIWC24) in Dublin, held from June 5-8, 2024.
Mr Cahill spoke about the care of patients with AMD (age related macular degeneration) and answered questions from the attendees at the session.
The congress, hosted by Fighting Blindness, had over 400 attendees on both Friday and Saturday sessions.
The Dublin conference brought together the world’s foremost retinal scientists and clinicians alongside leaders in the fields of advocacy, patient representatives, health research and support organisations.

Free counselling for people with visual impairment and their families
Fighting Blindness provide professional counselling and therapeutic services for individuals and families living with vision impairment and blindness.
